A Journey West #9 is a new 2011 edition. the artwork is based on the similar composition of the previous A Journey West #2 which won the Joyce Kelly Memorial Purchase Award in 2008 and now in the collection of the Kelly family in Louisianna, U.S.A. #9 enjoys a new arrangement of the little shoes in a more circular placement with some additional pairs, new shoes designs, more vivid colors, a new tray and some brighter rendition of lights. a friend told me that seeing this new vervion of #9, she could envisage the smiles on the children's faces and hear their delighted laughters upon receiving these new pairs of shoes at the Chinese New Year.
